Counsyl is a health technology company that offers DNA screening for people to understand their risks for inherited disease, cancer, and at-risk pregnancies.  More than just a DNA test, Counsyl has created a platform that connects doctors and patients with information that has meaningful impacts on human health.  

The Digital Products team at Counsyl builds software tools that span the entire testing process for patients and doctors. These tools include: identifying patients most likely to benefit from our tests, estimating their costs with insurance, tracking progress, and helping to understand the results. For doctors, we surround our tests with online services that improve their efficiency and let them focus on what they do best: providing excellent care.  This software touches tens of thousands of real people every day at critical moments in decision making. Above all, we make it possible for healthcare companies to be both hi-tech and high touch. 

The Digital Products team is seeking a talented and dedicated front-end-focused generalist engineer to develop innovative web applications. We use modern web technologies including: React, Django, Python, and Postgres. We combine these with a deep understanding of our users needs, and a design approach that puts these needs above our own profits. We have fun along the way, with hackathons and hardware events, meetups and meals together.
