Position Description

Counsyl is looking for driven HL7 Interface Specialists eager to work on a product that will help people make life changing decisions.  We’ve created a revolutionary platform that gives people access to critical health information at key times in their lives.

The Counsyl team includes an accomplished group of problem-solvers — top engineers, scientists, and designers — who are taking the lead on building the modern clinical laboratory.  Scientific rigor, custom robotics, and software are at the heart of every Counsyl product, resulting in better, faster and more affordable screening. Beyond the laboratory, Counsyl offers doctors and patients a technology platform for results delivery in real time, with on-demand access to board-certified genetic counselors.

Counsyl maintains a dedicated EHR team for creating and supporting successful integrations with our customers’ in-house systems.  Our team of Interface Specialists and Interface Engineers has completed over 300 integrations with a wide variety of EHR and LIS platforms, and with accounts ranging from sole practitioner practices to major reference labs.   Because Counsyl is a technology company, we benefit from the backing of a large software engineering organization, with dozens of engineers working on our proprietary platform and services, and supporting our EHR efforts. We seek out opportunities to go beyond vanilla HL7 integrations, and to more broadly support improved workflows for ourselves and our customers.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, cross-functional team, working on practical technical challenges and directly contributing to the commercial success of the company.
