We’re looking for a Senior Manager who can lead our Technical Program Management (TPM) team in our effort to build innovative products that will help people make life-changing decisions.

What you'll do

  • Deliver outstanding results through constant cross-functional communication, conflict resolution and decision making
  • Define and refine project specifications for technical projects, merging your knowledge of business requirements with technical understanding and fluency
  • Coach, mentor, and become a role model for your team on cross functional execution and project leadership
  • Work closely with software engineering leads and business partner leads to to bring products through the full software development lifecycle, on-spec and on-time
  • Develop and refine processes (and meetings!) that accelerate team velocity
  • Communicate schedules and team progress to stakeholders; mitigate risk and prevent surprises
  • Promote and improve product quality; own the full spectrum of the software development and delivery process
  • Focus teams on priorities; shield the team from distractions and interferences
  • Advocate best development practices and processes across the organization

About you

  • BS or MS in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Boasts prior success as a TPM in a software team, ideally with SaaS products in an entrepreneurial environment (familiarity with healthcare or genomics a plus)
  • Influences and communicates cross-functionally across all roles and levels of management
  • Coaches and trains teams on tactical aspects of program management
  • Uses clear, simple language to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Pays strong attention to detail, seeks resolution to open issues
  • Is well-versed with project management concepts and understands when and how to implement development processes
  • 3+ years of prior experience managing teams
