Counsyl is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design and execute infrastructure plan for optimum efficiency across all Counsyl platforms

What you'll do:

  • Designing, testing, implementing, and managing critical network infrastructure
  • Providing network problem resolution, root-cause analysis, and software referral assistance
  • Defining and maintaining network administration tasks for Level-1/Level-2 support
  • Providing expertise with Cisco ASR, ASA, Nexus and Catalyst platforms, Cisco IOS XR, Cisco NX-OS, and IOS 15
  • Designing, implementing, and managing performance monitoring for different technologies and performance testing for end-to- end solutions
  • Performing other related duties.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of experience in configuring, analyzing, and troubleshooting networks.
  • Prior experience must include 5 years performing WAN management and implementation; 5 years working with Cisco devices, including Nexus, 38XX switches, ASR, ASA 55XX; 5 years working with switching elements such as LAN:VLAN, pVLAN, PoE, and L3 capable switches
  • 5 years performing trunking and aggregation.
  • Must have CCNA certification.
  • In alternative to Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, employer will accept Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
