Position description

We are seeking a product costing accountant to be an integral part of our finance team. The individual will mainly support Product Costing manager on day-to-day product cost related activities. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

  • Perform month/quarter end financial close process by analysis of cost of revenue related entries and supporting documentation.
  • Detailed account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations for respective GL accounts, COGS reconciliation.
  • Lead monthly inventory count activities
  • Support on flux analysis and product cost calculation
  • Support on quarterly reviews and annual auditsSupport SOX implementation
  • Deliver monthly Operation scorecard metrics reporting
  • Provide guidances on resolving inventory and system inquiries.
  • Review and approve new items
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on system and process improvements
  • Drive change in the organization via participation in special projects and ad hoc analyses
  • Develop data visualizations and design effective ways to present data to key decision makers
  • Recommend opportunities to improve product margins

About you:

  • One to three years experience in an accounting or analytical finance with exposure to manufacturing environment
  • A Self-starter with a positive “can-do” attitude and a curious mind
  • Passionate about data, manufacturing, process improvement and system
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills with high degree of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfort with ambiguity, uncertainty, and enjoy the challenges in a rapidly evolving business landscape
  • Proactive with strong problem solving skills
  • Advanced spreadsheets proficiency
  • Desire to continuously learning, improving and taking on additional responsibilities as the role evolves
